ABOUT THE ARTIST

Fred lives and paints in Delray Beach, Florida where he shares a studio with his son's supply of vintage race cars and motor racing memorabilia.

Fred focuses on exploring new techniques rather than producing art designed to sell.  Most of his paintings start with a color palette, a mood, or time of day. From there the subject revels itself to Fred.

Many of his works are influenced by a lifetime of travel.  He and his family have lived and travelled extensively in the USA, Asia, the Mideast, Europe, and Latin America. ​

When not painting, Fred can usually be found in the kitchen, serving as a sous chef to his wife, Amy's and her many cooking and baking endeavours.

Fred has degrees from the Universities of Pennsylvania and Chicago, as well as the London School of Economics: none of which focused on art.  He is currently affiliated with The Art School at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
